I have a white macbook laptop and they get so dirty so fast! They pick up all the dust and the keys get scuffs on them, it drives me crazy!

Are there any tips for cleaning them?

  1. cotton tip or ear bud cleaners are good for the nooks and crannies a butter knife will scape off the stubborn spots mild bleach like a mould remover on a damp cloth will keep it white

  2. With my white MacBook, I use usually a cleaner I know is built for plastics and such. Personally I have Monster Screen cleaner that works great for its original purpose of cleaning the screens of my Plasma display, numerous other HDTV's I own, my MacBook's screen as well as it's keyboard and wrist pads.

  3. iKlear for the screen and case.  An employee at the Apple Store suggested a Mr. Clean Eraser to remove the skin oil stains, and that works very well.

  4. They come with a soft wiping cloth. I just do it every day lightly and stuff.

If there is really something stuck on then I'll just lightly wet a piece of paper towel and let it dry. Do not use alcohol.
