Question:

For those with clip in extension experience?

Okay, so I just bought red extensions to give me a little more length. And I have REALLY thick hair, so I folded the extensions in half and want to put them in that way, so they will be thicker.

However.. when I fold them in half.. they won't clip in my hair.

SO my question is: Can I use hot glue to the top on my extension peices to glue on the other side of it? (This might sound confusing, i folded the peices in half to make them thicker) and I just want them to be combined.

Can I do that? Or would it mess it up?

...And also, should i just glue the extension peices TO the clips?

Sorry if this question was confusing, but there has GOT to be someone out there that understands what i'm talking about haha

  1. Your question isn't confusing, I just had to think about what you are asking. I think it will make your hair look bulky if you glue two pieces together. If your hair is already thick, I'm not sure why you want the extensions to be thicker. The idea is that extensions should look natural. Have you had the extensions styled already? If not, do that then see a stylist to show you how to get the look that you want.

  2. umm kinda confusing but i have human hair ones they are 14 inch

so you can also cut them to your hair size if you want =)

thats what i do or take them to the salon they will do them for you but you have to pay $$$

  3. ok so. you do not clip the extensions to the extensions... no. you glue the bonded end of the extension to the clip. otherwise they wont work.

here is my favorite how to make extensions video.

I would imagine folding the pieces would look silly. but, that's just my opinion. hope i helped.
