For truck drivers, if there are double right lanes, which lane does the truck have to go?

I was told stay on the right lane but also told the one on the left from other people

  1. If you are referring to TURN lanes...

    If there is a double 'right turn' lane... the truck should always be turning from the left of the double right turn lanes...

    If there is a double 'left turn' lane... the truck should always be turning from the right of the double left turn lanes...

    If you turn from the lane 'on the inside' of a double turn lane, you will be going too far up and into the other turn lane to make your path for the trailer clear, thereby impeding the vehicles in that lane.  It's an accident waiting to happen, and you WILL be found at fault.  


  2. There are no separate rules for forklift trucks, you have to go the same way whatever vehicle you're driving.

  3. If you mean a 4(2 in ech direction) lane highway. InUSA either lane. Same rules for all vehicles. left lane is for passing. not for cruising forever
