For under $300 inc drinks - where can I take 4 people for buffet lunch in Melbourne?

Question

We have a celebration in June, and would like a place for Sunday buffet. Obviously on my budget it cannot be too fancy. Ideally in or around the city would be best.

Any reviews on the cheaper buffets at Crown Casino would also be appreciated.

Most Chinese restaurants have Yum Cha and they are cheap and cheerful you should be able to do 4 for $300, the Crown Cas have a Yum Cha place.

Yep i have included a review and the main one Kings Buffet did not score too well. I have been there before and it is sort of like Smorgys. If you know what i am talking about

Sante's is good, been there a few times. I've heard from several ppl that Kings buffet is not as nice. The Conservatory is about $60 for buffet dinner per person so for lunch it should be cheaper and could fit your price range.

Go to glenhuntly rd it has several restaurants and different types like chinese, greek, italian etc and it's affordable and nice.

I personally like Wong's Cafe and La Porchetta (La porchetta is on centre rd I think)
