For what tasks is a transparent ruler ecspecially helpful?

I have no freaking clue! I'm being homeschooled, because after a sickness i see double and im way behind on my work because of the illness, and to make it worse i've got almost 40 worksheets with the wrong text book. I've told my homeschool teacher, but she stillll after 3 weeks hasn't got it for me. Can someone help me with this question? Thank you!

I would call the cyber school or company you go thru and tell them the teacher isnt responding to you

it's easier to do geometry and stuff because you can move the ruler around and see where the lines meet up easier. it's a big advantage to be able to see through the ruler.
