    Gateway of India, Elephantta Island, Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, Rajabai Clock Tower, Hanging Gardens etc.

    take a conducted Bus tour organized by MTDC which takes you through various museums in Mumbai as well as Jehangir art  gallery. It's worth it if you like visiting museums. It includes Bhau Daji Lad Museum which houses various objects associated with Mumbai life. Enquire at MTDC office in Nariman Point.

    Take a day out and visit Elephanta Caves. Ancient caves and  carvings known all over world plus a boat ride to and fro. Fun thing to do. On a clear day you can observe lovely Mumbai skyline from the top of the Elephanta Islands.

    Take one more day and visit Alibaug areas. Take a ferry from Gateway of India. Start early morning. Alibaug is nice place to visit. Visit Fort a bit in the sea ( be very very careful and ask for the tide time). Various beaches and ancient sites in and around Alibag. Add great meals ( both non veg and veg - Fishes are more in demand.)

    There are several other off beat places around Mumbai but requires time.

    Mumbai is a very congested and polluted city in India, so, you may have some breathing problem, though not severe. Being a metropolis, Mumbia is well prepared for its visitors and tourists.

    This is a too crowded city, so be careful while travelling, your pocket might get picked. Avoid the crowds at the railways stations and bus stands. Don't get into any unknown or illegal activity. Do not try to disturb the local culture and local atmosphere. Try to be well informed about the routes and the place you are going to visit.
