  1. I went to College at RMIT.  It's great and right in the middle of the city.

I used to spend about $100 per week on food, transportation, coffees and entertainment.

  2. food- $aud 250 a month ? depends what you eat, where you shop etc..

transportation -$70 a month? again depends a lot on where you're going etc

as for the etc. bit well that depends too.

  3. food prices are reasonable; you can spend btwn 50 and 300 a month for food depending on what you buy and where from.  as for transport Metcard fares effective from 1 Jan 2008:

zone 1 which is inner city you can buy a monthly ticket for $105 full fare or $52 for concession which you can use on buses trains and trams

    hope this helps

  4. I still go to RMIT and love every bit of it and I have no doubt you will also love it!

  5. You will need to pass exams to get into RMIT, as it is a University. You will also have to pay tuition fees of around $A10,000 to $15,000 per year. Living expenses will cost you upwards of $A400 a week accommodation, and food about $A200. a week. I stand correcting, but I believe overseas students are not eligible for Transport Concession, so it's about $5.50 a day
