Force India driver Paul di Resta separates from his manager Anthony Hamilton – Formula 1 news
Force India driver Paul di Resta has separated from his manager Anthony Hamilton who has been one of the most important personalities in developing his career in Formula 1 so far.
Di Resta has not passed any kind of statement on his split with Hamilton until now and there are chances that he may face many questions in the 2012 British Grand Prix which is to be held at Silverstone Circuit this week.
Furthermore, it has been reported in the Daily Telegraph that presently the situation between them is very delicate. Additionally, it will be important to mention that Hamilton has played a crucial role in securing di Resta a race seat with the Silverstone
based team.
The British driver is currently standing on 11th place in the drivers’ championship with 27 points. Moreover, he is 6 points ahead of Kamui Kobayashi of Sauber and is just 2 points behind Pastor Maldonado of Williams.
He secured 10th place finish in the season opener held at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia after setting off from 15th grid position. Later, he delivered quite an impressive performance in the second race at Sepang International
Circuit in Malaysia and came 7th after starting from 14th place in the grid.
Afterwards, he could not score even a single point in the third race at Shanghai International Circuit in China. Nevertheless, he secured an inspiring 6th place finish in the fourth race at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir after beginning
from 10th grid position.
Later on, in the fifth race at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, he could not pocket any points as he came 14th after he qualified for 12th grid position.
Subsequently, in the sixth race at Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, he secured 7th place finish after beginning from 14th grid slot. Contrarily, he could not score any points in the seventh race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal,
Canada, as he came 11th after taking the start from 8th place in the grid.
Nonetheless, he secured 7th position in the last race at Valencia Street Circuit in Spain after qualifying for 10th place in the grid. Above and beyond, he is positively looking forward to perform well in the forthcoming race.
