Force India joined Formula 1 in 2008 and it seems that they have been able to establish their name in the sport very quickly.
The team has two very talented young drivers Tonio Liuzzi and Adrian Sutil. There were rumours that both of them might lose their seats in Force India but both of them are confident that they will be able to maintain their seats
for the 2011 season and insisted that they are expecting their official confirmation from the team soon.
Force India has been able to make a mark in 2010 as both Tonio Liuzzi and Adrian Sutil were able to score the best result in Force India’s history. Force India has established itself as one of the middle pace teams as the team
finished in 7th place in the Constructor’s Championship this year. There were some rumours that the team might replace either of their drivers with Nick Heidfeld, Nico Hulkenberg or Karun Chandhok. Some believed that they might replace one of them
with their reserve driver Paul di Resta.
Liuzzi stated that he is just left with the contract signing in order to secure his team position and is expecting that the team will hopefully buy him out of it if they hope to replace him with any other driver for 2011.
“I'm pretty confident everything is fine because they gave a signal that everything will stay the same. But Formula One is a very particular business where sometimes you don't know until the last minute, but I have a contract and
feel comfortable and I think everything should be set up soon,” he said.
He stated that he trusts his team boss and they have a pretty good relation with each other. On the other hand, his teammate was linked with Renault as the team showed a lot of interest in Adrian but he stated that he focuses on
signing an extension with Force India.
“It would be nice to move into a really top team, but right now there are no such opportunities. So I'm very happy to stay with Force India for another season. I hope it happens in the next two weeks. It's a lot of fun to be with
Force India, because we came from the back,” said Adrian.
He added that his team had the most successful season yet in 2010 so the team is hoping to improve and try their best to score even better results next year.
