Force India team principal Vijay Mallya appreciates Paul di Resta’s consistency – Formula 1 news
Force India team principal, Vijay Mallya has admired the performance of their driver, Paul di Resta in the 2013 Formula 1 season so far.
Mallya said that Di Resta has shown some remarkable results in the first four rounds of the season and has matured as a race driver. Besides, he said that the 27-year-old has attained results with consistency in every round and they are very much pleased
with his hard work.
Moreover, he stated that the veteran driver faced few difficulties during the last season because of some tensions on his mind due to it become difficult for him to attain competitive results on consistent basis. Nevertheless, he expressed that Di Resta
has performed incredibly well and inspired all the team members to work harder to get good results.
“Looking at our drivers, the performances of Paul di Resta confirm just how much he has matured as a driver,” Mallya said.
“He's delivering consistently every week and we are reaping the rewards of all his hard work. He suffered a difficult end to the 2012 season, but he's shown great mental strength and determination to regroup over the winter and recapture his best form. He's
pushing the team on and demanding the best from everyone, which is what we need,” he said.
Meanwhile, he also appreciated the performance of Di Resta’s teammate, Adrian Sutil. However, he said that Sutil has not been lucky enough to score good points with consistency.
“Adrian Sutil has also shown his speed so far but the luck has not gone his way,” he added.
It will be important to mention that the British driver delivered an incredible performance in the Bahrain GP and managed to secure fourth place finish with which he impressed everyone.
Currently, he is standing at 8th place in the drivers’ championship with 20 points. Furthermore, he is ahead of Nico Rosberg of Mercedes and behind Romain Grosjean of Lotus. He has asserted that he is earnestly looking forward to secure the first
