Question:

Forced feminization?

by  |  earlier

Why do some women find the forced feminization of men due to extreme environmental circumstances appealing? I have some guesses but am hoping someone knows more for certain.

- some women find it funny

- they like the idea of a man "knowing what it's like"

- it makes them feel powerful

Thanks.

  1. So rape is "feminization?"

Meaning that rape is a female condition, and that men who are raped are "feminized?"

Is that REALLY what you meant to say? Really?

Maybe you ought to think about that some, and get back to us.

  2. Why does the Gender Equality section of Yahoo Answers get trolled by men that really should just be in adult chat?

  3. Wait a minute, no one forces anyone.

You are your own person. Whether or not you decide to follow the crowd is your business.

Bu I have to ask, what are you really getting at? Maybe you are fishing for answers best suited for the adult section.

  4. "Ultimately I'm getting at this: why are some women amused by persistent prison rape?"

Ok > that wasn't clear AT ALL from your original question. I had an image of men being given the option of being force fed female hormones or being beaten.

I also agree with your view of feminization being linked to being raped, as though being raped is a natural condition of being a female. Are you implying that all men are rapists?

I think there is probably a view amongst lots of people - and not just women - that men in prison get what they deserve. I think this is true to an extent - but I don't believe non violent criminals should be housed with violent criminals. Violent criminals > if they can dish it out, they should be able to take it. I'm not amused at prison rape, but I'm not going to go out of my way to defend thugs either.

  5. Women are amused by prison rape? Where are you getting this??

  6. Women who are amused by prison rape are sick. Let me rephrase that, people who are amused by rape are sick.

Prison rape isn't something you could reasonably blame on women and/or feminists. It is something men choose to do to each other and to women and children. I refuse to accept responsibility for this behavior as I find it deplorable regardless of who it is being done to.

I do, however, find it interesting that your question equates rape with feminization. In other words, you are saying that being raped is a mark of being female and that to be raped makes the victim more feminine.

I do think some women (and men), who have either been raped or had their loved one raped, would find some comfort in knowing that convicts frown upon this behavior and often use rapists and pedophiles in the same way rapists and pedophiles have used their victims.

I don't think it is a gendered anger, that is, I don't think women as a group support prison rape any more than men as a group support rape. It simply seems that some men like to rape. I guess that makes them feel powerful. You seem to understand that, that rape makes people who dislike the victim feel powerful.

    Rape is repulsive.

  7. ... What would you consider "feminization"? If the man has to stay home and raise children? Or cook, clean etc?

That sort of definition... irks me, but I'll try to answer anyway.

I'd have to say the second option, but only if the man is finding it difficult. If the man finds it a rewarding or positive experience, likely the women would be attracted to him for his ability to relate.

  8. I would guess its like any other fetish...is there any real rhyme or reason to them?

  9. "Extreme environmental circumstances" huh?  Such as?

You cannot force anyone to do anything unless you threaten their life or something.  These men who want to behave as stereotypically feminine have chosen to do so.

  10. I don't find prison rape amusing, but I know a lot of men try to force women into their idea of what's feminine. Any woman who isn't what they consider "feminine" are accused of being lesbians, women who want to be men, etc. So forced feminization is a two way street.

  11. What the h**l is the "forced feminization of men?"

To the best of my knowledge, there are no mandatory neutering clinics in the western world.

The more pertinent question today should be: Is feminism today a convenient excuse on which men disappointed by what life has handed them can hang their failures?

  12. I thought that was like a fetish.. I don't see it out in real life any.. I'd like for you to elaborate on what you mean by "extreme environmental circumstances"

What is so feminine about the way a person acts when raped? I'm assuming that the response of fear, anger, and repulsion are gender-neutral.

And, more MEN find that funny than women.  And the only reason it is looked upon so casually is that these are "bad" men that are being raped.  People see it as something they "deserved".

Anyway, your question still doesn't make sense to me.. taking it up the *** is not a feminine trait.
