Ford EXPLORER RADIO???

I have a 1991 for explorer that has a AM/FM tape player radio..... i want a AM/FM/CD radio in it.... where do i look and how do i know it will fit in the old radio spot?

  1. Before you look at radios you should know that you will need parts to install a radio that do not come in the box. These parts are specific to your car and will usually cost between $30 and $40 depending on the shop you use. There will also be an installation fee that should be somewhere around $50 to $60.00 for your vehicle.

    A basic CD player will cost between $80 and $200. There is a big window there because there are alot of options when you replace the radio in a vehicle that are not there from the factory. Things like iPod, Bluetooth and Satellite radio for example. If any of these are of intrest either now or in the future make sure that the radio you get is capable of adding the devices you want. It may be a few dollars more upfront but will save you money in the future.
