Ford Escape Gas Problem!!

Question

I have a 2005 Ford Escape, and every time I go to put gas, the Pump stops sending in gas (every gas station i have been to), like if it was a full tank (but its not, not even close to full) I stop, take the nozzle out, then put it in again, and it does the same thing. If anyone has an an answer please share,

Own a 05 Escape and still liking it very much. Very familier with your concern. There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulliten) to change the filler hose to your gas tank. If still under warranty it will be covered. 36/36 If not for sure of warranty then contact local Ford Dealership,ask for a service advisor and give him your VIN or stop by and ask them to run a oasis on it to check it. Only other solution is to leave gas pump nozzle closer to top and pump fuel in slow.

But do have it checked to see if warranty is in effect for the hose.

If you still under warranty then you should take it back to car Ford Dealer. It called gas sending unit are inside the gas tank. Is the floater tell how much gas you have inside the gas tank.
