  1. No.

They're a very large vehicle, you would probably end up backing into various cars/objects and whatnot.

Not to mention the amounts of gas you would be using to drive it.

  2. Boy or Girl?  16 year old boy + excursion = 12 Bros getting stupid!

16 year old girl + excursion = a S**t load of dented cars, 12 girlfriends NOT watching the road, 1 dude " makin moves"in the back and 16 bros getting stupid!

an Old 2 seater = 1 friend and no room for baby's

  3. h**l ******* no. why would you need that its like owning a hummer H1 theres no reason. You better not drive next to me cause i dont want to die. Get a ford explorer if your looking for a SUV

  4. Ooooh, bad idea!  I'm not saying your kid is irresponsible but they're new to driving.  That's like giving them the keys to a tank.  It's a big vehicle and unless they are used to driving (which I'm assuming they aren't because they're 16), it's probably not a good idea.  They don't know how to handle it.  Big trucks take extra breaking distance.  It's an accident waiting to happen.  Plus if they were distracted for even one second and hit another car at a high rate of speed, they would probably kill the passengers in other car if it were little.  Then they would have to live with that for the rest of their life.  There are plenty of other cars and suv's out there that would be much smaller and easier to drive for a new driver.  And as for the speed, they're going to try to drive fast no matter what kind of car it is!

  5. Way too big for a 16 yr old.  You would be hitting everything.

  6. no freaking way. give them an 80's suburban first to practice on before you hand them the keys to a beautiful car

  7. would you need it? the first car I drove was a 97 .Ford Expedition. the only reason it was that and not a car is because I am a skier and have a snowmobile to pull so it made sense because I could pull the trailer and have good snow performance. what would be the reasons you would want to do with it? if you are just driving around town get a car. they're cheaper and use less gas.

  8. The weight of the vehicle alone in the hands of an unskilled driver is pretty risky.  Add handling characteristics for such a large vehicle and you are flirting with disaster.

Rollover fatalities are very high for this vehicle

Try a smaller sedan with a higher crash rating

  9. Too big for a beginner, they are pretty safe for the passengers, but for a beginner that could sometimes mean more dangerous for other drivers.....

  10. Way to big for a 16 yr old, plus always hittin up mom and dad for gas money, because you wont be able to keep it full.
