I am a new driver, bought this car few weeks ago, haven't really got time to drive the car as i use bicycle to work.. so just ran the engine once a day but haven't really been on road yet... suddenly today after parking the car... when i tried to start the ignition, it wont work... checked the lights, indicators, whipper, etc... everything works fine... so battery is not dead... engine is completely silent and does not make any noise when i turn the key on.... please help me...

  1. Its almost certainly a dead battery.... Your lights / stereo / wipers etc consume SO little power compared to trying to start her up.... Give it a good charge / jump start it...

  2. dont assume battery is fine, may have low charge, and not enough to turn over motor.

  3. you probably need a starter. Since your lights are coming on its definitely not your alternator get your starter tested.
