Ford Mondeo Question.?

I have just bought a Ford Mondeo 2.0 16v Zetec, 2000 / V-reg, Silver Met. Has loads of extra's like the Zetec alloys, A/C, E/W, D&Pas A/Bag, ABS, CD, Alarm/Immob etc...

It has 111,000 miles on the clock, Full service history serviced every 9,000-10,000 miles. 12 months MOT & Tax, Excellent condition in & Out, Drives well too. Was it worth the £1100 paid for it? Thanks.

I've had two, both let me down expensively & catastrophically (the second at 65,000 miles - both head gaskets, fsh, etc)

Would neer, ever buy another Ford, but a mate had one at 190,000 with no problem, nevr changed the oil, etc  - I suppose you get good & bad (more bad with a Ford, though)

That sounds like a really good buy. Taking into account what that would have cost brand new just 8 years ago.....you have got a very nice motor for a very nice price, well done.

Yes, get it serviced frquently and it has anothe 80K of life in it. Tip ~ Keep the aircon on frquently or it'll fail

Well worth it, the Price was amazing.

You should have paid about £2k for it.

Especially with the extra accessories.

I'd say so, i've had 2 of them (both 1993 1.6's) and I never had a problem with either of them!

I would say it was worth it.

I had a mondeo 2.0 petrol with over 200,000 miles on the clock so look after it and it will last you years.
