Ford explorer oil gauge fake?

is the ford explorer oil gauge fake is it just a light one but hooked up to a gauge because it doesn't even move at all it just stays in the same spot all the time? how can i make it a real gauge with the same gauge? change the sender?

  1. If it's not moving at all, it's obviously not working. Have it looked at.


  2. I don't think for has put a real oil pressure gauge in any car (save for the Ford GT and maybe the GT500) since the mid 1980's

  3. Its just basically a fake gauge yes. Its doesnt show amount , just basically if you have any oil pressure or not. Its not possible to make it work. Only way to tell what your oil pressure is, is to get a aftermarket gauge. Im running Autometer in my truck. The guy in the video is correct!
