  1. Your F150 has a GEM (Generic Electronic Module) That has the relays built into a circuit boared. It is located above and attached to the fuse panel located above parking brake pedal. Check and see if your winshield has leaked anywhere in that corner above the GEM location. This module can have the wiper, lights, blower motor and a few other electrical things aork like you may have a ghost in your truck. It will have to be for that specific model and year with same accessories for it to work when replaced.

    Hope this helps.

  2. To me the only thing that could cause the blower motor to run when key is out is the ignition isn't in the exact right position and faulty or a bad control module or in fact as you mentioned a faulty relay in blower motor circuit.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way your owners manual should mention something about relays , plus the dealership could tell you if in fact the blower motor has a relay and where it's located.Plus you could stick you head up under the dash and try to detect the clicking sound and try replacing that part yourself.
