hi there

i want to sell my 1996 ford fiesta

its got good bodywork and gleaming

the inside is clean

its got 6mths mot left

and ive never had any problems with it

how much should i be asking for it

its a 1996 N

Asking and getting are 2 different things!  Last week my son sold his R reg Fiesta LX with the 1245cc Zetec engine (and this is a far better engine than your old style 1300), good all round condition, only 43,000 miles, 2 months tax and 8 months mot plus 4 almost new (budget brand) tyres. After advertising it for 3 weeks locally and on ebay, finally accepted 700 which was the highest he had been offered.

try looking at similar cars in the media to gauge a price your car is quite old now but i would guess ask for what you think is fair and add some extra because the buyer will almost certainly say its too much  that way you may get what you want remember lots of people are lookink for smaller cars so you just might get a bit more than you expect hope it helps a wee bit
