  1. Take just a minute and check out the connection at you fuse box. On the side is a flat cover that slides off and is the main battery connection. Make sure it is tight. Make sure you took the ground plastic post cover off before you put cable terminal on. Don't laugh. Seen this several times and have had them get it towed into the dealership for this reason.

    Hope this helps.

  2. make shure you have a good conection at your batteryif its good replace your starter

  3. Without knowing why you changed out the battery in the first place I'm gonna assume the vehicle cranked over ok before your battery concern. That being said the PATS (passive anti-theft system) should not have lost memory by just changing the battery. It will if the vehicle sat for an extended period with the battery unhooked or completely dead. If the rest of the vehicles systems are energized and you just have a no-crank concern I would have to say this is the case. You should notice the red alarm light flashing on the dash indicating the PCM is not recognizing your key in your attempts to start. Unless you know someone with a Ford WDS you're gonna need to get it to a dealer to get it reprogrammed.
