Foreclosure affects chance getting green card?

I was curious. If I have a foreclosure, will I still be able to get a green card. How would it affect my chance of getting it.

foreclosure in your home country it may show as less than desirable or an undesirable.

If in our country , you cannot own land , so it will be an undesirable for first breaking the law of owning land and then being here illegally

As long as you don't become Public Charge, you are alright.
