Foreclosure after chapter 7 discharge?

Here's a questions that I have never seen (and I've looked everywhere)

My home mortgage was included in my chapter 7 discharge. I owed back taxes so the county foreclosed and sold the house, the mortgage company did not get the house. Now 2 years later I have been served with a complaint demanding the mortgage. Can they do this?

Mortgages ARE included in bankruptcy.  Foreclosures happen all the time when people can't or don't want to file for bankruptcy.  If it was included in your filing and discharged they cannot seek now to collect the debt.  Check with your attorney!
