Foreclosure and landscaping?

How do I bid on the landscaping jobs for the homes that have been for closured? The ones that are in the property of the bank.

  1. You would have to try through the bank.

    But to be honest with you, most foreclosure homes will not be repaired inside or out till they're sold. For example, a lot say in their ads "bank owned, renovations at list price", meaning the property won't be touched till it's sold. The banks don't want to bother wasting money till they know they'll make it back.

    But... give it a try, can't hurt, call the banks that own them.


  2. You can search the tax rolls to find out what bank owns the property.  You will than have to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to locate the proper department and case manager for the foreclosed property.  I'm assuming you're only looking to mow, trim the yards, not actually landscape them in other ways because the banks will not put money into the yards and often not even into the home.
