Question:

Foreign Exchange Program Help?

I am fifteen, will be turning sixteen in March. I hope to be a foreign exchange student in Germany during the January through the summer of 2010, that year being my Junior year in high school. My parents and I are attempting to find all of the necassary information needed.

I would really love to go for an entire year but I have some complications that are preventing me from doing such. On various sites I have found the cost of going with an agency to be around 7,000 dollars to be there for a semester. Does anyone have any good sites or scholarships I could fill out? Or just any helpful advice would be lovely too.

  1. AFS is expensive but they have a lot of scholarships that you can appy to. And its not too difficult to get accepted for the scholarships. I am going Japan March 2009 for a whole year.

Just go to afs.com and its easy and fun. I dont know you well but you might be a smart kid and you can earn more just for being smart. Have funn! Good Luck!
