How frustrating. I early voted in Texas' primary this past week and the ballot was in English, korean, and spanish. When I cross the border to Mexico, everything is in Spanish; When i cross back into the US everything is still in Spanish. Does anyone see the problem here? We cater to them and the favor isn't retuned. If someone wants to vote for this country's leader, shouldn't it be done in English?

  1. I believe that everything in America should be written in our native language......APACHE.

  2. Mexico has an official language and the U.S. does not. (Democrats are against having an official language and Republicans are for it).

    Mexico's official language is Spanish.

Also, Mexico doesn't want its citizens to assimilate into U.S. culture. So Mexico actually pays for Spanish classes in the U.S. for illegal immigrants to better their Spanish.

This is a Mexican website that lists locations of U.S. spanish classes that Mexico pays for. Click on your state.

  3. Yes it seems as though USA is suffering from this kind of stupidity as much as UK . If peole can not be bothered to read the name of the candidate they wish to vote for or learn the procedure I do not think they should be allowed to vote

  4. Yes, all the tourist that come to America should learn English first.  LoL If you are in the south there is more spanish people so  you would find more things avaliable in Spanish!! thats common sense. LoL What part of Mexico have you been? LoL Because I have been to Cabo San Lucas and they have signs in English even in Culiacan or Mexico City. LoL You have been to the poor areas?

I don't have a problem. As long as they vote for any Democrat !!

  5. yes i DO BELIEVE SO.. the freedom WARRANTED IN the Constitution GIVES s....

Excuse me ....Vote on History for a Chang. Vote within The Spirit of The Democracy inverted in America's Constitution...

I am Dutch and I have a Language span, 300 square kilometers. inhabitants nearing 20 milking. Denser population figures than any Country in the World, save Hong Kong.... The City and Peninsula..There's are more of such places in the world, and since the grounds in Hmong Kong Spirit re not available, Good Economics Peace Time tells me to  stick out my/your neck and give them an exclusive Portal to the next.

  6. By having ballots in various languages, the party in power can remain in power.  Reason:  The voting blocks can Balkanize the nation.  Which party has consistently sought to disallow assimilation?

Almost all nations on the globe are moving toward English.  It is 'the language of commerce'.   The only nation moving away from English is the United States.

With such great endorsement of economic slavery, the USA makes it even more difficult for legal immigrants to assimilate.  A Greek must now learn English and Spanish.  The Albanian, too, must learn two languages.   YUK!

Opinion:  This is unfair to legal immigrants.
