Its True, touristes coming from other EU countries with F , D , I , E etc, on their car plates don't pay any tax / fee to

Drive in Central London.

Is it the same with parking fines, they are exempted ; its true

  1. No. The reason they are exempt from the congestion charge is that the computer recognises UK number plates and sends the bill straight to the registered address, there's no way to do that with foreign plates.  But for parking fines, the ticket is put straight on the car, and they can be clamped or towed away just the same as any other car.

  2. Hmm maybe but if you are clamped it will cost you--I have a Spanish plated car and I would NOT like to risk it as far as parking goes but I suppose the Red Ken tax could be avoidedp

  3. How can this be, and if not why not, they are clogging up the roads too, get this sorted Boris.
