U won't have too much of a problem once you get to Paris.  Congrats by the way.  Hmm, definitely understand the language although u will once there.  Enjoy the food, write in a journal(s), make new friends who in turn will share or tell u the best for sales for all things noteworthy for shopping.  Bonne chance ma chere et j'espere que tu m'amuses ta vie a Paris.
