Any suggestions on how to book a weekend trip from Chennai to Agra to see Taj Mahal?

  1. book through www.holidayclubindia.net and get best rates


  2. Take a flight to Delhi (2.5 Hr). Take a Taxi to Agra (3 Hr). Stay in Agra for the weekend and then back.

  3. the entire trip can be booked using one of the travel sites like www.makemytrip.com or www.travelguru.com or the likes.

    just a word of caution. do not book the tickets etc. from www.ezeego1.com. incase of cancellations/failed ticket bookings, getting back the money will be a big hassle.

  4. Its better for you to go to a travelagent like Thomascook or someother. They will arrange everything for you.

  6. Go by Plane for Sure, NO TRAINS (it will take 36 hours by train)  , go to Agra by Taxi and get the ticket there at the Taj Mahal.

  7. dude, plan for sure!! I went to India and I travelled Chennai to Vijaywada and the train sucks!! =( This guy who sat next to me barely gave any space!
