Foreigners who are not part of the US visa waiver?

I am just curious how do you guys get a US tourist visa, how is the process. Do they interview u or u can get it easily? Just curious for people who have been tot he US and are not part of the Visa Waiver.

well you need to fill out a really long form... and then you need to pay $131 and then you show up for an interview and if the officer thinks you have strong ties to your country and then u wont immigrate then u r given a visa
