Forensic Toxicology ?

I plan on going to college and eventually become a Forensic Toxicologist. What should I major in..Chemistry?

Also, what would be the outlook and pay for this career?

The first answer is yes, and I'm not sure about the US system, but in the UK there aren't many toxicologists who earn a massive amount. However, the pay won't be too bad.
