Forest Dot hot favourite for the Henlow Standard Dup
Forest Dot is likely to dominate proceedings in the Henlow Standard Dup in England on Thursday, July 19, 2012. The 460 metres flat race will provide some terrific entertainment to the spectators and the triumphant hound will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 21:30 GMT, and six runners will be fighting for victory in it. However, the best chances of succeeding will be with Forest Dot, who is carrying the winning momentum and has got a lot of experience as well.
She has participated and performed well in numerous events in this class, which is why the bookies consider her to be reliable. She will be an ideal choice for the punters too, as no one appears to be in a position to match her today.
The H. Dimmock’s trainee has got very good speed and it will be difficult for her opponents to catch her, especially at the start. However, there is a little question mark over her stamina, which might allow the other runners to challenge her towards the end.
Despite that, things will not be easy for Forest Dot’s opponents, as she has been doing extremely well at Henlow in recent times. She likes running here and has enjoyed some success at this venue.
In her previous two Grade OR events, the white and black b***h was absolutely dominant and won comfortably. She will be chasing a hat-trick today and the odds are certainly favouring her to achieve that landmark.
In her most recent race, the experienced b***h was rated as the favourite to win by the bookies. She lived up to expectations of everyone in the end, winning by four lengths. Her speed at the start was exceptional and no one was able to come anywhere closer to her.
This performance would have given immense confidence to Ballymac Maeve’s daughter out of Forest Eagle, who made her debut back in April 2011. She was competitive right from the start of her career, which encouraged her team to test her at the highest level.
Although, Forest Dot’s performances were a bit inconsistent back then, yet she has improved a lot and is now considered to be a threat against most of her rivals.
