Forest Force in charge of the Heat & Combustion Ltd Trophy – Division B
Taking their chances with the £200 prize money in the Heat & Combustion Ltd Trophy – Division B are Forest Force, Oneco Frankel, Lemon Late Show, Inismore Impact, Mays Oscar and Kingsmill Super. The race will be staged at Coventry over 485 metres flat on
Sunday, 30th September. Majority of the entries are well seasoned at the open level, and have been impressive in their last few attempts.
The two-year-old black dog, Forest Force, had his last three attempts at the open level. The lightly raced entry has progressed gradually from the Grade T races to the open level. The H. Dimmock trained lost miserably in his first try on 23rd
August, 2012 at Hove over 475 metres.
He lost the Hove Maiden 475 due to the slow start that refrained him from setting into an early pace, and consequently missing the possible lead. The race was won by, Droopys Aki, in 27.99 seconds.
A training session on 30th August, 2012 at Henlow over 460 metres gave Royal Impact’s son the chance to clear accounts with the previous loss.
The two-year-old ended third in the Perry Barr September Maiden Division I on 7th September, 2012 at Perry Barr over 480 metres.
Forest Force did set into an early pace, but fell victim to getting crowded twice over the track, once when racing in the first position, and then later in the third.
The race was won by, Valentia Tango, in 28.42 seconds.
The two-year-old out of, Forest Diva, then swept across the competition on 15th September, 2012 in the Abbey Meads Maiden 509er at Swindon over 509 metres.
Taking off in the red jacket, the two-year-old raced by the rail, and led on for the wire from the first position concluding the race in 30.32 seconds. He won by the margin of 1 ½ lengths and set, Call Poacher, as the runner-up.
For tonight too, he has drawn the similar trap, and will have Oneco Frankel racing from the adjacent box. Settling into an early pace, and then taking a firm grip of the lead will make him the first one to race across the wire.
