Forest Rock likely to dominate Bernard Barry Bookmaker A2 525 Final
Forest Rock is likely to dominate proceedings Bernard Barry Bookmaker A2 525 Final at Shelbourne Park in Ireland on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The triumphant hound of the major event will be awarded with a cash prize of €2000.
A total of six quality hounds will be battling out for victory and their names are as follows: Forest Rock, Ballymac Button, Hectors Choice, Climb A Tree, Ashley Chip and Athboy Fantasy. The race will start at 20:04 GMT.
Out of the above mentioned hounds, Forest Rock has managed to win the confidence of the bookmakers, as he is a quality runner. His performances in recent times have been good, thus the punters will also be placing maximum number of bets in favour of his
victory.
Mason’s trainee has won a couple of races in his past five appearances, which shows that he is in good rhythm at the moment. His consistency makes him the favourite for today’s race at Shelbourne Park.
The black dog has the winning momentum with him, as he was triumphant in his most recent run. He was not the favourite to win that event, but still dominated the rest of the pack and ran to a comfortable victory by six lengths.
Considering that performance, it seems very difficult for other hounds to stop Forest Rock, who is the son of Royal Impact out of Forest Swallow and was born in June 2010.
However, there is one runner, who can match the skills of Forest Rock and that is Ballymac Button. He has also been given pretty decent odds and the bettors will definitely be risking some money in his favour as well.
O'Rourke’s trained hound does not have too much experience, but his performances until now have been quite impressive. He has been running regularly at Shelbourne Park, thus has plenty of knowledge of the conditions here.
The black and white dog is in great shape at the moment, as he managed to win a couple of races out of his last three appearances. Although his most recent run saw him securing the runner up spot, it does not mean that he has lost momentum.
The second favourite hound is the son of Premier Fantasy out of Ballymac Okee and was born in June 2010.
None of the other runners will find things to be easy today, as the top two favourites are in great shape at the moment.
