Forest firefighting?

how can you become a forest firefighter?

This isn't really a special ed question but for more info check with local office of national forest service or the state equivalent - in Montana that is the Dept. of State Lands.  I have several friends that have career jobs on Hot Shot crews with the Forest Service that travel all over the country when there are serious fire problems.  They have been doing this since a year or two out of high school.

Move to California, they have pleanty of work, and probably training.
