Forest rangers???

where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all"?

Since I have been a park ranger for almost 33 years, to get away from it all is not all its cracked up to be.  My park is a beautiful place and I enjoy my time here working or not, I live in this park.

I do go to other parks to recreate because I can look at them as a visitor and not a manager.  I don't have to fix things or worry about anything.

I spend my away time on the water and the more remote the better.

Well, I am a forester who works in the Pacific Northwest, and I live in the woods without another house in sight.  I can go days without talking to another person, except for my wife.

I like to go to tropical beaches or...Disney World!!!
