Forever 21 bag, john 3:16?

On the bottom of the Forever 21 bags, it says John 3:16. Is it referencing the Catholic bible??? Has anyone ever noticed this? I'm just curious, it's no big deal =]

The owners of the stores choose to put the Bible reference on the bottom of their bags as a representation of their faith in Christ!

And just because the owners are Christian, does not make it a "Christian" store. If a Jewish man owned a store, would it be a "Jewish" store? Or the same with and Atheist person? Yeah. I didn't think so.

To some people, the simple Bible reference bothers them to the point where they quit shopping at Forever21. As for me, I love shopping at Forever21. It is cheap and affordable. S****y? I think not. Have you seen their clothes? It's what any other store would sell. Just because they sell tank tops or short shorts does not make the store "S****y".

And as to the first comment, how you managed to weave in some random story about the name of the store with the Bible verse, I will never know.

Really? Isnt 21 years old the legal age of adulthood in some countries? The end of John 3:16 is "whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life"... as in being forever 21 years old? And their no return policy makes sure that once you buy, you "forever" have their clothes. I doubt their intention is fully christian. It might have something to do with them giving u some sort of everlasting life (metaphorically). Think about it

Yes it is true the owners of the store have a deep christianity faith in the Lord and print this on the bag so that the message of eternal live with God is known. alot of teens out there dont know the meaning and its important to us christains that we pass the word of God in whatever way possible. I am 23 yearss old just had a kidney transplant to pass illnesses and have a great deal of faith in the lord. We need to realize somewhere even at a young age that GOD is the ONLY WAY! and we all have a purpose in life. Or look at it this way except Gods love and spend eternity in Heaven or deny it and spend all eternity in h**l  ?
