Question:

Forgets his own opinion/side or just an ***?

When i get into an argument with my friend we usually have to drop it until i can get more information on the issue. I bring it back up later when i get the facts whether i was right or wrong and try to tell him who was right and who was wrong. A lot of the time when i bring it back up he somehow believes he was right all along (acts as if he was on whichever side was right all along). Is it plausible he is unconsciously doing it or is he just an ***?

  1. I had a friend who was like this and when it happens repeatedly it is very hard to believe that they are doing it by accident. Doesn't mean he's a bad guy though.

I don't know if this could be like him but some people act a lot more confident than they are. They think being wrong will make people think less of them - it's silly but it's just insecurity. If this is your Friend then he's not trying to beat you, so much as he is trying to protect himself.

If the above sounds familiar then if you can just shrug your shoulders and let him get on with it (after all, you know the real truth right?) that will be to your credit. Of course - if you think he really is just trying to beat you down all the time then maybe he is an *** after all.
