  1. I think being happy is the best revenge, but in order to get to that point you need to forgive and move forward.

  2. most people aren't truly forgetful when they say they are sorry. but you can usually tell if they are. no, sometimes revenge is the best answer cause there's only a slight chance they say they're sorry and even a less chance that they are truly sincere

trust someone whose heard a lot of pathetic apologies

  3. I agree, a good guilt trip does wonders sometimes. an eye for an eye is never ending until the world is blind and the circle is unbroken.

  4. I want food without food. I get food with onion. What should I do? I am ready to forgive for past but what about future? In future, I will get food with onion. I can take her eye for her foolishness.

  5. If the person you are forgiving is truly sorry and regretful, then forgiveness is revenge because that person will live with guilt knowing they did something wrong but you still forgive them.

  6. Maybe, but it's hardly suitable punishment

I forgave the person that almost killed my son and left him half blind & deaf...they don't seem to be hurt by it

  7. Praveen no need to revenge, forgiveness is fine, the best is to use the time and energy for some thing constructive.

  8. Your question inherently carries the answer itself. Forgiveness is the best way to settle a score brewing between the two.  Othewise revenge is not the prerogative of one side, the other side also reserves the same.  So it gets a vicious cycle and to stop this cycle somewhere, one has to forgive the other.  I suppose, this will not only stop the cycle but overturn the whole scenario.  May be, the regretful feeling may dawn on him  and may think of mending fence to reconcile.  He will shed all his ego and make amends  for whatever he may have hurt the other.  Otherwise you know, revenge can be handed down from generations to generations, as is evident in Indian History.  So I have liked your question with answer hidden therein and I do endorse it.
