Are teachers allowed to make you take your shoes and socks off if you forget your kit? I forgot my PE kit and was told i had to take off my socks and shoes and roll up my trousers for an indoor badminton lesson. Is this allowed? Why did i need to do this?

  1. I think you should have asked to speak to a school couselor. There are germs on the floor and I can see the teacher asking you to remove your shoes because they could harm the floor, but asking you to remove your socks was completely out of line.  I am hoping that you are planning on reporting this teacher.  It sounds to me like the teacher did it to "punish" you for forgetting your PE kit and took it a bit too far.  I hope you spoke to your parents about this also, they do need to know.

  5. Yes, I would say so, because I assume you were learning on a wooden court, and shoes that are not for this situation can damage the floor.

  6. ask the Principal what the rules are

  7. As long as he didn't put your feet in his mouth I think he's safe.
