Forgot the word for forced environmental habitation!?

Question

ok... you guys know how bees were from europe but they were brought over here...?? or how rabbits aren't from australia but they were taken to australia and are now eating the kangaroos food and endangering the species? well there is a word for taking these animals out of their natural habitats and putting them in a new one and just letting them adapt... well i'm writing an essay on this and completely lost my train of thought and i need this word... ASAP.. please help me!!

When species are brought into a new habitat, they are known as nonnative, or exotic, species.  When they start to take over the food/resources of native species, they are usually referred to as invasive species.
