Forgot to put middle name on plane ticket? is it still ok?

Hi,

I book a plane ticket to bangkok using thai airways but forgot to put my middle name down. My passports has my middle name included. will it still be ok to travel into thailand? i called thai airways to make should of it and they said it should be ok but it depending on the customs at the airport. has anyone experiance this problem?

I have never put my middle name on a plane ticket, it's never been a problem.

it's ok they won't do anything becuz I never put my middle name on mine!!!

but,

That shouldn't be a problem mate.. as long as it still has your name written.. and you bring your passport with you and visa..

I have NEVER had ANY problems with not putting my legal middle name on documents.

All we need is your first and last name on the plane ticket your passport will verify any other information they may need

I've been to Thailand several times and have never had my middle name on my ticket even though it's on my passport, and I've never had any problems. "Depending on customs at the airport" pretty much means you might get a customs officer looking to supplement his income - you can pay your way out. They'll make up some story about how it's a problem but for a certain amount they can fix it. You can either tell them "no problem I'd like a receipt thanks" and they'll let you go without paying the bribe. Or if you don't want to risk the hassle, just pay up. The good news is they're not that greedy, they'll probably ask for the equivalent of $10 (or at least that was the going rate to get out of a traffic fine last time I was there). You'll be fine.
