  1. I don't know of any collages that teach astronomy or astrophysics.   You might have to make your own.    Cardboard and newspaper clipping should do the trick.

There are many colleges that teach astronomy or astrophysics.    Consult Google or US News and World Report ranking of US University and Colleges.

  2. It won't be easy to get in. For starters, you'll need solid grades in an appropriate major, probably physics.

Second, it won't be small. To get a PhD in astronomy or astrophysics will require a major university.

Small population? The university where I got my PhD had a department of Physics and Astronomy that was substantially larger than the entire Arts and Sciences Division at my not-too-small college.

The first reference will help you locate appropriate universities. The second is a link to a lovely astronomy collage.

  3. James Cook University. You can also do their program online. Masters and PhD.

    And it is college.

  4. ha ha. Umm, if you want to go to collEge in the first place, you will need to know how to spell collEge. Second, geting a PH D. is NEVER easy, especially in astronomy/astrophysics. However, if you want a PH D. you will most likely have to go to a good college, because the kids getting degrees at MIT, Stanfrod, and Harvard are going to beat your littel community college. Look it up on google under ASTRONOMY COLLEGES.

  5. Princeton NJ worked for me, but you may find it difficult to get in.
