I am going on a cruise for christmas, but i am extremely picky with what i wear so i am starting early. I really want a "Nightmare Before Christmas" "Corpse Bride" "Sweeny Todd" Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton looking dress. I really like the dress Lacey Mosley wears in the Flyleaf All Around me video if that helps. Not way to dramatic, something my Christian parents would approve of. But not christmasy looking. Told you i was picky. : )

  1. All right, I'm right with you. I am picky too. (and my parents too)

    Try these:

  2. This is one of my favorite sites.  You have to take your time and look around to find what you want, but I can normally find something close to what I am seeking.

They are all vintage-inspired dresses and while I am not sure if there are any that will go with your Tim Burton theme, there are tons of beautiful and unique dresses that can be made even more unique with some creative accessorizing.

Also, take a look around at thrift stores if you have a good variety in your area.  If you have a Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Ross, go there and see about pulling things together.  Can you sew or can you afford to have someone make something custom for you?  You may want to get a picture of what you want and see if you can find someone to custom tailor a dress to your specifications.  It is often much cheaper than you think to purchase a piece of custom-tailored clothing.

    Good luck!
