Formating messages I send in yahoo groups?

I have a message that I want to send via yahoo groups that would work best if each line were a certain length (to avoid bad word wrapping) On my screen anyway, the wrapping is wayyyy to short, especially due to the bar along the right with yahoo links and such. Is there any way to put that bar at top or bottom and not side of message and dicate how wide the message is before it wraps?

  1. Yes you send ur msg. to yahoogroups. easy

  2. Unfortunately there is no option to change the format that Yahoo has set for Y! groups to do what you describe.  If your group owner allows members to create new files in the group's Files area, your best bet would be to create a Word document and upload it to Files.  If you are not sure how to do that, this is how:

    To ADD a File:

On your computer, create a Word document with your Margins and Justification set for your message as you wish it to appear for the group members.  Save document with a name appropriate to display to group members.

-Sign in to the group and click Files located on left side of screen.

-On upper right side of screen, click "Add File".

-Click the "Browse" button, locate the Word document on your computer and double click the title.

-Now, Write a brief description of your file (document) in the blank field to the right of "Description".

-Do NOT select any of the blank squares in the Auto-send to Members area.

-In the Notification area select "Send a message to the group announcing this file.

    -Click "Upload File".

I hope this info helps you.
