Former A.C Milan striker has no plans to retire from football
Former A.C Milan striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andriy-Shevchenko-c6014, has revealed that he is not retiring from professional football and has many years left in him.
Shevchenko is currently plying his trade in the Ukrainian league with his boyhood club, Dynamo Kyiv. The 34-year-old believes that he is still producing the goods for his team and does not need to retire.
The Ukrainian international had a fantastic season with the White-Blues and helped them finish second in the league table. Shevchenko scored 16 goals in 32 appearances for the in all competitions last season.
The striker lost his prime when he made a move from A.C Milan to join English giants, Chelsea, in 2006. Shevchenko was at his peak when he left the Rossoneri but struggled to make an impact at the Stamford Bridge.
The former Milan striker failed to live up to his reputation and managed to score only 9 goals in 47 appearances for the club. After a two year of struggle with the Blues, he lost his starting berth at the club and was loaned out
to Milan for the next season. The striker could not repeat his success at San Siro and scored only two goals in 26 appearances in his comeback season.
The Ukrainian international added that he still feels young and has the energy to continue playing at the top level.
Talking to the reporters Shevchenko said: "I feel good, still young, the motivation is still there and I think I'll carry on. Of course, the day will come when I have to hang up my boots, but for now I don't know when I'll retire.
I scored quite a few goals again last season. My short-term objective is the upcoming European Championships."

team and scores important goals."
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 striker is still keen to represent his national team and has not decided to retire from international football either.
