Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 player Lee Dixon believes top four is out of Gunner reach – Premier League Update
Former Arsenal great, Lee Dixon has become the latest person to go ahead and offer some serious criticism to the Gunners. Following Arsenal’s fourth defeat in their opening seven games has left the club in the fifteenth spot in the Premier League table and
with all the other club’s getting a whole lot more competitive, many are doubting Arsenal’s credentials.
Dixon seems to be amongst those who are now considering Arsenal to have a very rough season ahead of them, as he claims the team is now going to find it close to impossible to break into the top four by the end of the season.
Dixon, when talking about the Gunners is quoted to have said: "I think top four is out of their reach now, I really do, so you are looking at top six"
"Yet the way they are playing now, can they reach the top eight?"
Arsenal are currently suffering a massive defensive lapse and have http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 out of action for a couple of months now.
Many believe that the Gunners have a very weak defensive line and with these new injuries, the team is going to have a real problem trying to put up a solid performance at the back.
Dixon then went on to highlight that the team’s defensive lapses have constantly cost them valuable points and the best example of this is the second goal that they conceded at the White Hart Lane.
Dixon then went on to add: "It is difficult for them because they are not showing any consistency in performances"

"There are a lot of pluses and it's not all doom and gloom but ultimately it all falls back to the same thing. They are frail and they can concede goals from schoolboy errors.

"Until they stop that they will carry on being frail and that's the worrying sign."
It seems like everything that Dixon has said about his former team is spot on. The team has been performing a lot of childish mistakes on the pitch and with so many key players missing in action, the Gunners are going to have to dig deep to produce half
decent results.
Many have believed that it is close to impossible for the Gunners to end a season without them being in the top four, but those critics and fans might be in for a surprise at the end of the season.
