Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright wants teams to play behind closed doors – Premier League Update
Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright seems to be a man with a lot of opinions. Over the course of the last couple of months, the former Gunners striker has been caught in a number of controversial situations in the past and it seems like Wright is looking
to get in the thick of things once again.
Wright has gone on to suggest that teams whose fans are caught singing abusive or racist chants, should hit back at those fans and play their games behind closed doors.
During http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526 and a number of other players. As a result, Wright feels that it is high
time for some drastic measures to be taken, in order to prevent this nonsense from ever taking place again in the near future.
Wright, when talking about fans and how they have evolved into tribal cavemen is quoted to have said: "When the fans get together in a ground, it’s all tribal, anything goes, there’s no laws to stop people”
"Who’s going to be brave enough to walk into a crowd of 100 men, maybe tanked up, shouting abuse? They’re not going to do it.

"What they should do, if it’s bad enough, their next game should be behind closed doors. They want to do something about it then do something drastic.

"Do something where people say ‘woah, what happened, behind closed doors?’ that’s it. That will stop it in one fell swoop."

It is not the first time that fan conduct has caused the overall feel and impact of a game to deplete. However, that being said, instead of banning all the fans in the stadiums, some regulations and checks should be introduced to keep an eye out for fans who
are the most disrespectful and then eject them from the grounds.
Nonetheless, if that is not possible at this point, then with teams playing behind closed doors for a game or two ever now and then doesn’t seem all that harsh, as long as it gets everyone to behave themselves once they are back.
