Former Bayern Munich midfielder Thomas Strunz has regarded Germany’s European Championship triumph as the biggest achievement in his playing career. Strunz, who played for the Bavarian giants in two spells, admitted that he still

The former midfielder also expressed his delight as he remembered to convert a penalty in the semi-final when the match ended 1-1. The Germans scored all the six penalties whereas Gareth Southgate missed for the hosts.

On being asked about his career, the 43-year old stated that he is very satisfied with his time as a player. He admitted that there were players who were better but he is pleased on the honours he was able to achieve.
