was confirmed.

Cardiff’s, Dave Jones, QPR’s Neil Warnock, and Watford’s Malky Mackay. It is believed that the officials went in for the experience of the 56-year-old.
‘Big Sam’ has years of experience behind him as he has managed the likes of Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United. Both parties have expressed their delight at this deal and confirmed that the contract would be finalized in the coming days.
West Ham co-owners, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Gold and David Sullivan, have expressed their delight at this deal and admitted that Sam is the perfect man to take over Grant’s position.
The former Newcastle manager enthused that he would like to lead the hammers back into the top division and pointed towards the necessary changes that need to be made in the final squad.
The Englishman added, "I look forward to taking charge after I have had a family holiday. It's always difficult dealing with the aftermath of relegation but I want to get West Ham back into the Premier League as quickly as possible."
Allardyce confirmed that the deal would be finalized in few days time and the first thing he would do is strengthen the squad for the upcoming 2011/12 season. West Ham will play Championship football during the next season after they finished at the bottom
of the English Premier League table.
Hammers managed just seven wins throughout the 2010/11 season and were among one of the three teams who got relegated. The other two teams were Blackpool and Birmingham City.
