Ladies and Gentlemen, the Brazilian Legend, Ronaldo is back on his feet. It seems like the maestro still has strength left in his legs for running on the field. This surprising news comes direct from the President of his former club, Corinthians.
While talking to the media, an exuberant http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855’ President, Andres Sanchez, told that the maestro had rethought about his decision and wanted to play again. Ronaldo announced his retirement in a teary press conference just a few months ago.
The 34-year-old started his career from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 bringing him tons of glory.
After a year at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605, Ronaldo made another switch and this time to Italy where he inked a contract with Inter Milan. His good form continued with them for a further 5 years but then he made a jump back to Spain, this time to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid managed to acquire his services, a decision that benefited both the player and the club. He spent the next 5 years of his life with the Los Blancos before making a cross country switch yet again.
AC Milan was the new club Ronaldo arrived at and after spending a season with Milan, Ronaldo came back to Brazil to play for Corinthians. By this time, Ronaldo had gathered numerous club trophies and won the FIFA World Cup twice, in 1994 and 2002.
Just three months ago, Ronaldo decided to hang up his boots when he declared he was heading out in a new field. The star clarified that he was interested in pursuing acting and management. However, now it seems like the craze for the game has brought him
back to the park.
Sources have revealed that Ronaldo will be offered an entirely new contract with Corinthians. The contract will date till summer of 2012 and is rumoured to present new revised wages for him.
In a recent press release, Sanchez enlightened the issue, saying, “Ronaldo is going to play again. I don't know if he will play three, four or five games, but he will be back”.
It is expected that the 34-year-old striker will be back to running in a couple of weeks. Also Inter Milan and Barcelona have lined up for two friendly games with Ronaldo’s club Corinthians, on 25th May and 2nd June, respectively.
